Extremely professional and timely! When I had my accident I never felt alone for even a second. Having Khalil and Said Law Group on my side was the best decision I made. Genuinely got the rest and recovery I needed while they handled the rest! If 10 stars were an option I would give it a hundred times over!

Frequently Asked Questions
Clean scanning is the illegal act of a vehicle inspector that results in a fraudulent “pass” for a vehicle’s emissions test.
Applicants or license holders may request an appeal for the following actions:
- Denial of an application for a license
- Suspension or revocation of a license
- Imposition of an administrative penalty
Appeal requests must be received within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of notice of the proposed action.
The informal hearing is your opportunity to present evidence to DPS and to explain the circumstances that are the basis for DPS’s initial determination.
If you request an appeal within the allotted timeframe, the DPS will schedule a Vehicle Inspection Hearing, on a first-come, first-served basis. The time it may take before your hearing varies based on how many other appeals were requested and scheduled before yours. Once a hearing date is finalized, you will receive a Notice of Hearing.
The Vehicle Inspection Hearing is conducted telephonically.
The SOAH judge’s ruling (a “Proposal for Decision”) is issued within 60 days of the hearing. Exceptions to the decision may be filed by either party. The final Proposal for Decision is reviewed and heard by the Public Safety Commission, which then issues a final order.
